Sustainable Development

A global leader in environmental services, Veolia Environnement has put sustainable development issues at the forefront of its strategy (water service management and protection of water resources, integrated waste management to promote its treatment, recycling and recovery, optimisation of energy consumption to conserve energy and reduce carbon, and global transportation management to fight climate change).

In addition to this sense of environmental responsibility, VE has also undertaken a progressive social, societal and economic approach through its local businesses. This sustainable development focus is also reflected in the way that the financial and extra-financial communities alike acknowledge our performance.
