Veolia Water, the world’s leading operator of water services, provides outsourcing services in water and wastewater for municipal, industrial and tertiary clients under medium- and long-term contracts. As well as providing service management, the division designs technological solutions and builds facilities.

This activity, which covers the entire water cycle, has been a Veolia Environnement core business for more than 150 years.

 

 

World leader in waste management

The Waste Management Division of Veolia Environnement, Onyx, ranks second in the world in its business. It is the only operator to have both a global presence and the capability to handle all forms of waste at every stage. It manages solid and liquid, hazardous** and non-hazardous waste, from collection to recycling for municipalities and industry.

Its core business is treating the pollution generated by human activities and developing ways of recycling waste.

The Energy Services Division of Veolia Environnement, Veolia Energy, is the European market leader in energy services for businesses and public authorities, helping them to optimize the energy and environmental efficiency of their facilities.

The division has built up a wide range of services in energy management, with expertise in heating and cooling networks, thermal services and technical maintenance, industrial utilities, the installation and maintenance of production equipment, comprehensive building management and electrical services for public spaces.

 

 

A specialist in public passenger transportation

Veolia Transport operates public transportation networks on an outsourcing basis and in partnership with public authorities. These networks are urban, in the case of buses, metros and tramways, and regional, in the case of long-distance buses, trains and boats.

Veolia Transport is a specialist in transporting people and organizing transportation on demand for the disabled, as well as taxis, para-transit, call centers, and the like.

The division also operates in industrial markets, managing rail freight lines, airport services, company sidings and related logistics.
